IG Lintels is delighted that our Hi-Therm Sustainability Lintel has been shortlisted for ‘Product of the Year’ at this year’s Housebuilder Awards.
IG has worked extremely hard on research and innovation to develop new products and to ensure that Hi-Therm offers the single most cost-effective solution for house builders to achieve improved fabric energy efficiency and a reduction in carbon emissions.
The Hi-Therm Lintel – a patented grp and galvanised steel hybrid – creates greater corrosion resistance than stainless steel lintels, the ability to support loads equal to that of a standard or heavy duty steel lintel, removes the need for insertion of a DPC and has thermal characteristics to outperform all others. Keystone’s Hi-Therm Lintel is the only one-piece lintel that satisfies the new certified Psi values for lintels in the updated part L building regulations, appendix R, with a Psi value of 0.05w/m2k.
The Housebuilder Awards 2014 will be held at a glamorous black tie evening event at the Tower Hotel, London on Thursday 6 November. Winners will be announced live on the night and we wish all finalists the best of luck.
